Phyllis Mansfield, our nonagenarian member, recently made a trip to Cuba with
her daughter Lizzie.
After arriving in Havana they hired a car and drove some 800 miles from Havana,
almost the whole length of Cuba to Santiago de Cuba in the extreme south east of ths island,
near to where Fidel and Raul Castro were born and raised in the 1920s and 30s.

celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Republic of Cuba
